Get to know the role:
To build up a strong merchant community and improve merchant sentiment via impactful engagement events and practical benefits/ values.

Responsibility:

1. Operational tasks:

• Develop a merchant engagement plan with multiple activities (i.e: sending gifts; organizing occasional events; offering exclusive benefits) to boost partners’ satisfaction and improve partners’ loyalty
• Lead and execute projects from end to end (conceptualizing; building detailed plan; budgeting; briefing and coordinating with key stakeholders; tracking/ on-sight supervision; reporting) with the ultimate goal of delivering impactful events and programs to partner merchants
• Effectively collaborate with other teams and department and manage vendors to utilize team resources and maximize project outcomes
• Frequently collect & deep-dive merchant insights, then initiate practical initiatives

2. Other tasks assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications:

1. Education: Bachelor degree; major in Marketing, Media, Event, or business-related are preferred
2. Experience:

• 2+ year working experience in event execution and management
• Experience working in Event Marketing agencies is strongly preferred

3. Skills/Knowledge

• English: Professional working proficiency
• Computer skill: Office (especially PowerPoint)
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Strong project management and event management skills
• Organization mindset
• Data-driven mindset
• Wide network with logistics vendors and other businesses is a big plus
