Chương Trình Tuyển Dụng Thực Tập Sinh Ashinaga Internship Program Parttime 2021 (Có Trợ Cấp)
Ashinaga is a non-profit organization headquartered in Tokyo, Japan that provides educational funding and psychological support to children who have lost one or both guardians, as well as to those whose guardians suffer from serious disabilities. Since its founding in 1993, the organization has raised an estimated $1 billion and has helped over 95,000 students complete high school and/or attend university. Ashinaga also provides residential facilities, psychological support, day programs and camps for both younger children and Ashinaga student loan recipients
The Ashinaga Africa Initiative (AAI) is Ashinaga’s flagship project in Sub-Saharan Africa. Its mission is to contribute to the region’s development by providing orphaned students with the education, network, and opportunities necessary to become leaders in their home countries. We invest in students who want to study internationally and then return home to make a positive difference in their country and community.
The Ashinaga Internship Program began in 2013 as an English teaching program for students in Japan and Uganda, which enabled interns to acquire the problem-solving skills and adaptability needed in multicultural environments. Since then, our program has grown to encompass a variety of departments and functions. Interns now have the ability to choose between a number of different fields within the organization and we hope that by tapping the minds of intellectuals from all over the world we’ll be able to turn Ashinaga into an all-embracing, international NGO. To date we have had over 400 interns from over 90 global universities in several dozen countries.
While we have unfortunately been forced to cancel the Ashinaga Internship Program in Japan in 2020 and 2021 due to COVID-19, we are now opening a remote internship for Fall 2021 in its place. We invite you to join us on our journey!
Program Benefits
- Stipend of 1,000JPY/working day
- Work-related travel expenses (for interns currently living in the Tokyo Metropolitan Area only)
Fall Remote Internship Dates: October 18 2021 - December 10 2021
Remote interns work with a variety of different teams at our HQ in Tokyo. They and are guided through their projects by a dedicated team supervisor, simultaneously gaining transferable skills and an insight into working at an international NGO. Interns work on a flexible, part-time schedule (approx. 20 hours/week, or more if desired) decided upon with their supervisors.
In addition to general team-based projects, interns will participate in several program-wide online events to learn more about how Ashinaga works, and also have the opportunity to interact with some Ashinaga scholars.
Working department: Translation, Japanese student activities, Ashinaga Africa Initiative (AA) Student Relations Team, AAI Professional Network and Career Development, AAI Graduates and Alumni Team

- While this is a remote internship program that can be completed 100% online, interns who live in the Tokyo Metropolitan area may have the opportunity to work occasionally from the Ashinaga HQ in Tokyo.
