Sea Logistics Intern

Internship duration:  1 year

Work location: 19th Floor, VCCI Tower, 09 Dao Duy Anh Street, Dong Da District, Ha Noi, Vietnam.

Work hour: 8:00 – 17:00, from Monday to Friday, one Saturday morning per month

Job description

  • In charge of managing the documentation & invoicing
  • Issue documentation to suppliers

Your tasks and responsibilities

  • Issue draft Blue Anchor Line Bill of Lading (BAL BL) to shippers and Submit Shipping Instructions (SI) to Carrier
  • Check Carrier's Bill of Lading (BL) and do e-filing of Carrier's BL
  • Submit AMS/ACI/AFR/ CCAM/Mexican AMS if required
  • Confirm Sailing. Printed original BAL BL/ Sea Way Bill (SWB)
  • Update vessel schedule in system when receiving delay/early ETD
  • Issue invoice (INV)
  • Accrual costs in system
  • Do e-file for special document (if required), like Packing list, Invoice (INV), Certificate of Origin (CO), …
  • Solve arising issue relating to documentation's task
  • Update and follow customer's SI & Standard Operation Procedures (SOP) strictly

Your skills and experience

  • Third year students or last year students in International Business/ Supply Chain/ Logistics, or related field, willing to learn and adapt to new environment.
  • Can work full time.
  • Basic knowledge about import/ export process.
  • Good at customer service and problem solving skills.
  • Good command of English.
  • Being careful and detail-oriented.
