Job Description

As the Quality Control Supervisor, the incumbent is expected to champion the Ground performance monitoring which identifies actions, changes and investment required to achieve our services and cost targets.

Key role will be

  • Provide E2E Logistics KPIs visibility to all stakeholders
  • Focal point for the tracking, analysis and reporting of Cluster KPIs, a direct point of contact for escalated issues at Cluster level.
  • Monitor, analysis and reporting of Performance and in the identification of issues
  • Track, monitor & take actions for performance and productivity improvement frequently to ensure operational KPI’s are met
  • Walk to the floor regularly to have operation insight, build up the relationship & point out the performance gap with Ground team
  • Use/ Build up tools and methodology to conduct in-depth analysis to identify issues, problems and opportunities
  • Closely communicate with different parties and proactively notifying key customers to timely follow on service discrepancy
  • Prepare regular detailed analytical reports on findings which identifies actions, change and investment require to achieve our service and cost targets & ensure reports are produced according to specifications and distributed according to the agreed timetable
  • Improve Service Quality continuously
  • Proactively finding out the opportunity for continuous service quality improvement.
  • In conjunction with E2E function to identify performance gap, analyze root causes & initiate appropriate improvement response to address the issues, follow up action plan with responsible line and functional management
  • Set up and lead regularly review performance with Ground Team & other related function to secure buy-in and accountability for the actions
  • Take lead project related to performance improvement
  • Encourage collaboration throughout the chain to implement strategy, handle problem between Ground team & cross function
  • Receive strategy from Network team/ adjusting it accordingly and drive the Ground performance effectively
  • Communicate the performance standard & target for all the key indicators to ensure implementation of Performance plan in line with regional objectives and improvement projects
  • Contingency plan with all key management to initiate in the event of a service failure.
  • Provide predictive data for more forecasting & proactive decision-making
  • Make sure SOP/ WI compliance at E2E process & implement Audit frequently

Qualification and Skills:

  • Degree in Business, Transportation, Statistics, Computer Science and all related studies.
  • Experience in monitoring control center will be an advantage
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skill.
  • Good command of both spoken and written in English.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS Access, MS PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge or experience in using database applications for data analysis, e.g. SQL server & IT background is highly preferred.
  • Love traveling & movement.
