Position Summary

  • Work in collaboration with cross functions and lead the development, socialize and sustain analytical tools (dashboard, reports) and digitalization initiatives within Supply Chain & Procurement at the market. Maintain networking within the Market and Zone in terms of analytics & digitalization for capability building and improvements within the Market.
  • Develop a deep understanding of end-to-end operational issues, assist with data analysis, proactively evaluate processes and actively propose improvement plans to make processes more simplified, innovative, and continuous improvements.
  • Support functional (and/or cross-functional) process optimization initiatives and liaise with Nestle colleagues within the Market and Zone to achieve projects for continuous improvement by providing support on NBE, LEAN and NCE related enablers in SC function according to best practices, guidelines, Nestle Operations Model (NOM) as per support agreement.
  • Draw up project plans, dependencies, and communicate across the involved parties to align everyone across the scopes and timeline.
  • Ensure project status, issues or changes made are communicated to both the internal and external stakeholders and documented appropriately.
  • Support in the deployment of work class solutions to drive the strategy of functional stream in the Supply Chain organization as per support agreement.
  • Support in the communication of "SC Connect" driving alignment and transparency of SC & Procurement initiatives, and bringing these to life both within the Division and across the whole NVL business.

A day in the life of...

  • Work with stakeholders throughout the organization to identify opportunities for leveraging company data to drive business solutions.                
  • Mine and analyze data from company databases (data preparation, data modeling, data analysis, data visualization to drive optimization and improvement of product development, business processes, financial measures.                
  • Explore and experiment new ways of utilizing data, statistical methods and digitalized business solutions to enhance business processes, efficiencies and generate high value business insights within and beyond Supply Chain.                 
  • Explore and experiment predictive modeling, advanced analytics, machine learning and/or AI to increase and optimize user experiences, revenue generation, and other business outcomes.                
  • Develop and provide/support necessary training (PowerBI, Power Platform…) and support to cross-functional teams.                
  • Develop analytics solutions and processes in all areas as required (e.g. Supply Chain, Logistics, Customer Services, ...).                
  • Liaise w/ cross-functional colleagues to identify and remove roadblocks and implement NCE solutions, LEAN Office or Value Stream Management, such as continuous improvement of the IMS end-to-end process (i.e. planning, transportation lead times, freshness, etc.). Develop and possess a strong problem solving and collaboration skillsets with SC functional end-to-end insight.                
  • Initiate & lead improvement projects w/in supply chain and cross functions as needed and/or requested by management or as part of the on-going development and maturation of the functional models.                 
  • Participate and deploy solutions aligned to the Strategy of the Functional Stream and to the Supply Chain Vision as per support agreement - specifically supporting SC Connect as the main communication tool of the Division. 

What will make you successful

  • Three or more years of relevant operational experiences in leading teams especially in FMCG, at least one of the following areas:
  1. Demand & Supply Planning
  2. Customer Service
  3. Logistics
  4. Procurement
  5. e-Commerce Operations experience is a plus
  • At least 1 year of experience in Business Intelligence or Data Analytics role with proven business impact
  • Attention to details, logical thinking and ability to learn quickly with can do attitude
  • Cross-functional collaboration experience to gather requirements and define the right metrics to describe the state of the business
  • Project management experience to implementation of major project(s) or change program(s)
