JOB PURPOSE

  • Strongly support Brand Manager independently, effectively and passionately in leading the assigned category / product lines to achieve the best results based on set objectives by Line Manager as minimum requirement that contributes to the overall achievement of the Marketing Team.
  • This role plays a critical part to take full ownership of the assigned category / product lines by leading the brand development strategy & plan including budget responsibility, revenue growth management strategy, research and insights generation, future category opportunities and integrated marketing communication activation.
  • In addition, the job holder also plays an important role to build team capabilities, operating effectively, driving positive one team spirit, and establish a collaborative culture based on the Beiersdorf’s Core Values across the Marketing Team and within the organization.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITY – MINIMUM REQUIREMENT

Marketing Strategy

  • Business Plan = assist Line Manager in developing overall marketing strategy, annual business plan and competitive growth strategies for assigned product lines
  • Conceptual Thinking = proactively propose and assist to develop winning innovation and communication concepts based on consumers insights to grow assigned product lines

Consumer Understanding

  • Insights = deeply & continuously listen and understand our consumer and customer and generate valuable insights for concept work: always differentiate between the fact and the insight
  • Market Research = analyze Nielsen Retail Audit data and execute quantitative/ qualitative market researches
  • Competition Watch = support Line Manager to regularly update on competitor activities

Brand Image & Standard

  • Ensure on-brand communication = support Line Manager to brief advertising agency, evaluate creative artwork, manage consistent quality
  • Ensure on-brand execution = control brand standards in the areas of product, packaging, price, promotion, and other communication touchpoints

Media Strategy & Communication Plan

  • Media Efficiency = track media plan and control target achievements post-campaign regularly and share with Line Manager
  • Think Digital = share Digital trends and generate key learnings for function

Efficient Working

  • S&CM / Sales = work closely to ensure excellent execution of promo plan, distribution and merchandising objectives
  • Supply Chain = work closely to deliver sales volume targets and fastest way to market
  • Finance = work closely manage activities within approved budget and identify opportunities to improve margins
  • Agencies = analyze to get most competitive deal

  • People Motivation = Inspire and motivate Marketing team members to deliver business objectives
  • Learn & Grow = Show courage and actively give and seek for continuous feedback from Line Manager and colleagues.

Others

  • Take full responsibility for Launch & Relaunch projects
  • Transparency = Update Line Manager on the status projects and of the principle accountabilities based on internal and external information: market research for brand image, usage, market shares
  • Extra Mile = Take other assignments from Line Manager as requested

SPECIAL REQUIREMENT

Education: University degree in Marketing/Economics
Working Experiences

  • Min. 2 years working experience in Brand Management or equivalent field in Marketing, preferably in FMCG
  • Leadership Talent and strong performer at ME level for min. 2 years
  • Previous agency experiences are welcomed

  • Good experience & relevant knowledge in personal & skin care
  • Proficient in English & Vietnamese in speaking & writing
